Rescue from Height
This is a rescue course designed and developed by RSTO for those working at height and may find themselves in situations where a rescue attempt may be required to help an individual. During this training, candidates are instructed in a range of rescue techniques depending if the attempt is to be made from a tower, crane, pole, cable car or ski lift, or even an industrial rescue. Depending on the requirements of the candidates, the training course is delivered and certified accordingly.
This course prerequisite includes physical fitness and a valid first aid certification.
Become a Rescue from Height Instructor:
To teach such a course, prior knowledge in the rescue sector may be required. Proof of such knowledge can be submitted during registration. RSTO has developed a program which covers the needs of any person working at height. The course can be adapted to your specific audience, making it easier for new instructors entering this sector of the industry. After attending and passing the Rescue from Height Course, All successful applicants will receive the following:
- Instructor certificate
- Instructor wallet card
- Training backpack
- Rescue from Height Instructor manual
- RSTO Powerpoint for Rescue from Height
- RSTO Multimedia Assistant for Rescue from Height ( on a DVD )
